River Spey

Rothiemurchus Fishery is situated on the south bank of the River Spey, 60 miles upstream from the mouth of the river at Kingston. The Spey offers some tremendous Brown and Sea Trout fishing in late spring to early summer, and there is also a chance of catching Salmon. Rothiemurchus has two beats totalling 4 miles, both within walking distance of the Fishery:

Upper Beat
Some excellent pools with good water access and wading areas; it offers a nice clean cast and plenty of Spey/ Roll casting situations.
