Canoeing - The Doune to Aviemore
The western boundary of Rothiemurchus Estate is formed by the famous River Spey, perhaps the greatest salmon fishing river in the British Isles and home to many of the world’s elite whisky producers. You can experience the magic of the Spey with a journey in our stable 2-man open Canadian canoes, starting from the historic Doune House to the Old Bridge Inn at Aviemore.

Our experienced guides will tailor the session to meet your groups’ objectives, be it fun or team building. The trip involves just over 1 hour's paddling time on the water and is a wonderful introduction to the delights of exploring the River Spey by canoe.
