Hairy Coo Safari

GUIDED BY AN ENTERTAINING AND KNOWLEDGEABLE COUNTRYSIDE RANGER

Walk down to the farm, and meet these wonderful Hairy Heilan Coo’s!

Description

Starting at the Rothiemurchus Centre, you will meet your friendly and knowledgeable Ranger and then follow him in your own vehicle to the farm. Here you will park up and walk with the Ranger to the field where he will call over our wonderful hairy heilan coos. They will come right up to the fence and be happy to pose for hundreds of photos!

Then you will follow the Ranger down through the main farm itself, where you will see some more animals and the Ranger will provide you with some information on the history of farming at Rothiemurchus. Then it’s back in the vehicles and the tour will finish up back at the Rothiemurchus Centre.

(IF you do not have your own vehicle – you may be taken in the Land Rover with the Ranger – there is supplement cost for this).

Participants should wear suitable outdoor clothing, underfoot can be muddy so boots or stout shoes are recommended. Sorry no dogs.

Meeting point – Rothiemurchus Centre – 10 minutes before session. (Please meet the Ranger and follow the Land Rover to the start in your own vehicle)
