Rothiemurchus Farm Shop near Aviemore introduces Rothie Refill: reduced packaging and waste, increased convenience! 

Reduce, reuse, recycle and refill, with the latest new addition to the Farm Shop. Our smart new array of self-serve dispensers provides a wide variety of dry foods. Flour, rice, pasta, granola, muesli, coffee beans, nuts and much more are all currently available. You can bring any kind of refillable container and our smart scales will do the calculations for you – it’s super quick and super easy! Here’s a quick guide to how it works:

• – Weigh your container
  – Place a container under the dispenser and fill with the amount you want
  – Re-weigh your container
  – Smart scales will print off a slip which you take to the till to pay.

You can bring any kind of box, tub, jar or bag to fill up – but don’t worry if you forget one – we have brown paper bags available. Glass jars are also available to buy, which of course you can refill again and again!

If you only need a small amount of something for a recipe, that’s no problem – no minimum quantities or weights.

With each refill you are helping reduce packaging and your carbon footprint – and ours!
