Local Producers

We want to be at the heart of the community and are working in partnership with many local producers. You can read more about them at the links below.

We work with many local fruit and vegetable growers including Alvie Strawberries

Our fresh bread, cakes and slices come from KJs Bothy Bakery. This fabulous small business was set up by the former owner and chef at Aviemore’s legendary Mountain Cafe, which closed in the wake of the Covid pandemic. KJ and her team now bake up a storm at their new base in Grantown and deliver fresh bread to the Farm Shop every Wednesday and Friday. Cakes and slices available all through the week.

We always have free-range local eggs laid by Sharon’s hennies and ducks just down the road at Druim an Lochain.

As well as our own honey, we also stock Kingussie honey – raw heather and blossom honey from 20 hives across their two apiaries based at nearby Kingussie and Laggan

Another small local supplier is Rising Roots, based in Elgin. They supply freshly harvested, wholesome and flavourful microgreens.

Cairngorm Brewery is based in Aviemore, and we always stock a good range of their lagers and ales.

Inshriach Gin is one of our very closest suppliers, right next door at the Insriach estate. Their gins are distilled in their shed which previously won Channel 4’s Shed of the Year! We generally hold some of their 47 and Navy Strength, and other special editions at certain times of the year too.

Highland Boundary are botanical spirits distilled in Alyth, Perthshire, featuring the flvaours of the Scottish wilderness. Their botanicals are all handpicked from Scottish woodlands either on their own farm or nearby.

Ace Kombucha create their delicious sparkling and healthy kombucha, a great low calorie alternative to soft drinks, in Ballater – on the other side of the Cairngorms National Park.

Cairngorm Leaf and Bean are coffee roasters based in Boat of Garten just 7 miles away – we stock both caffeinated and decaf blends.
