  • A new and exciting activity for Rothiemurchus, River Spey Paddle Boarding provides a unique way to explore this beautiful area. Suitable for ages 8+ and easy to learn, stand up paddle boarding (SUP) is the fastest growing water sport around the world.

Your guide will cover safe launch, landing and self rescue techniques, efficient forward paddling, spinning and all-round board control as well as learning how to ferry glide across the current, the first step to learning how to surf!

The river is much more sheltered from the wind than highland lochs, so makes a great learning environment and the river’s flow makes it extra fun.

Experienced guides take small groups of 6 people maximum to ensure you get a personal, high quality experience.

The River is short 5-minute walk from our changing rooms.
